What is it? who does it and why?...

The occult covers a vast array of subjects, most of which we cannot cover.

The word occult quite obviously ends in the word "cult".. This explains much of the subject.

Cults are often known to have secrets, we dont so will tell you what we understand.

Cults and religions are often from the same roots, the ceremonies used in most religions and cults are very similar. Your lovely local church has an alter, candles, a goblet, flowers, emblems etc, modern day witches, wizards, shamans, druids and similar use the same tools.

All beliefs seek to invoke "higher powers" when performing any religious, spiritual or esoteric ceremonies. This is occultism.

The Freemason fraternity are occultists, spiritualism is based on occult practices.

Good occult and bad occult: good occult practices involve invoking "positive, empowering,  light energy", bad occult practices invoke "negative, controlling or dark energy". Interestingly the occult is simply energy work.

Serious occult work is kept secret for a number of reasons: To protect people, to dis empower people, to protect the integrity of the organisation or sect, to make money, or to teach.

BEWARE OF CULTS.

Everyone is individual and some people will gain great strength and support from cults. Some cults prey on vunerable people to make money. Religion is great IF it helps the individual.

Occultism, social conditioning and belief systems are all linked. If they help you then use them, if they dont then do your own thing.

Some people will look at a daisy and see it as a beautiful flower, others will see it as a weed and throw weed killer on it... belief systems are similar.

Some of our team are into angelic beliefs, some druid, some scientific. Its about respecting others beliefs or "head space".

Occultism is about bending reality. Occultists know and use tools that can alter material reality. It is MIND bending...

In the victorian era occultism was VERY trendy. These folks had nothing better to do. There are many good books from this era (much better than the modern marketed naff stuff). There are MANY witnessed recordings of extreme occult phenomena from this era.

WE LOVE "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle", not only because he is local to us (R.I.P.), but because he stood up and said what he thought..He was an active and very experienced occultist. All of his Sherlock Holmes books show his interest in occultism, he lost respect in society for his beliefs.

Why has occultism faded in the past 100 years? A naughty but simple answer is because of modern living. Society today uses exactly the same methods cults use to market products or services. Rude people call this brain washing (we do not). If enough people convince you that you need something then you will buy it.. Via subliminal, direct, visual, auditory or sensory methods.

Some people call this WITCHCRAFT, in the modern day it is reffered to as advertising, marketing or selling.

WE ARE ALL WITCHES, WIZARDS, SHAMANS ETC..

The awake people will understand what im saying, the asleep will think im mad.

The occult is very normal, its just that some people do not notice it.

MANIFESTATIONS: The victorians were incredibly good at these. Using combined mental or psychic energy channelled via a medium or receptor they created physical manifestations. Some occult groups still do this BUT most keep it secret because they are shy.

Thoughtforms are the name given to psychically created metaphysical phenomena. In other words ghosts, UFOs and all other paranormal phenomena can be labelled as thoughtforms. These can be used to teach, empower, control, manipulate or make cash out of people. I hope this makes a bit of sense...

In other words people with occult knowledge can be VERY dodgy.

For anyone interested in this subject please start off by reading some older books. Alice Bailey, Dionne Fortune and Alistair Crowley are all worth a read. Take the knowledge you want, drop what you do not need.

ALWAYS STAY ON THE LIGHT SIDE.. ITS SAFE.

Black magic, dark occultism ARE VERY DANGEROUS. Not because you can harm others BUT because you will harm yourself.

Light working and positive energy in the occult are empowering for all.

Modern books on the occult can be very valuable but sometimes lack the basic practicality of older books. Dionne Fortune (in my opinion) is the best author on this subject.
